The BMI Foundation is a nonprofit organization, incorporated in the state of New York in February 1985, and dedicated to the creation, performance and study of music, in fields including but not limited to music education, the preservation of the indigenous American jazz form, and the creation and exposure to audiences of contemporary music, particularly in the areas of classical, jazz, and musical.

The SONA Foundation (TSF) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing songwriters and composers with resources, support, and programs in mental health, financial wellbeing, career development, and emergency funding to ensure healthy, fulfilling lives for all music creators as they navigate the inevitable challenges and rewards of the music business. Since inception TSF has hosted more than 200 hours of education-based events and given grants that provided music creators with more than 500 one on one therapy sessions. In addition, TSF's Songwriter Fund provided close to 100 songwriters with emergency assistance following the catastrophic 2025 fires in Los Angeles and is currently offering grants to help with out-of pocket health care costs.

Hear Your Song empowers kids and teens living with chronic illness to make their voices heard through songwriting and music production. Hear Your Song supports young people with a range of physical and mental health diagnoses through the process of writing and producing their own music, giving power and choice — and a microphone — to kids whose health conditions often deprive them of agency in their daily lives. Since 2020, Hear Your Song has supported more than 700 kids across the United States and internationally to help bring their songs to life. Learn more at www.hearyoursong.org.
